Our ACTIS 600/450 system is designed for both inspection and geometry capture of aluminum castings. It is the same system used by major automotive casting manufactures for first article inspection and quality assurance of engine blocks and cylinder heads. The system is equipped with a linear array detector for high capture efficiency at high energies and provides superior low noise images making it ideal for metrology applications. Pixel resolution in the 100 micron range is achievable.
The ACTIS 600/450 is also equipped with a Radiological Line Sensor (RLS) detector for imaging smaller objects at high energies. When the RLS is employed‚ the ACTIS 600/450 is ideal for capturing internal surface data of jet engine turbine blades. Excelent results on large ceramic structures have also been achieved.
